Leah is a Registered Nurse & the Practice Manager. She studied a Bachelor of Nursing Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast and completed hospital rotations in Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Community Care & General Medical wards. Where possible, Leah assists with:
- Immunisations (influenza & covid clinics, routine childhood, travel, elderly patients)
- Wound care
- Surgical support
- Annual health assessments
- Chronic care plans
- Infection control
- Intravenous iron & antibiotic infusions
Leah’s responsibilities in operations management include:
- rostering & coordination of clinical & administrative staff
- managing suppliers, stock orders, & cold chain monitoring
- reviewing our range of medical services
- all aspects of financial management
- patient communication & booking systems
- government compliance
- reviewing the various health programs we offer
Leah enjoys jogging, surfing, catching up with friends, & the occasional sauvignon blanc
